Violet Fire is a metaphysical phenomenon.  It is found to be very beneficial in visualisations to cleanse and charge that which is passed through its flames.

 

The violet flame is cool to the touch, and anything passed through the fire is transmuted.  This makes it a very powerful ally when working with crystals.  Purely by visualisation a crystal that needs to be energetically cleansed can be passed through it so that it may be reused safely.

 

Violet Fire is available to everyone, it is easily accessible and if something that does not require cleansing is passed through it, then it will simply be recharged energetically, something similar to leaving crystals in the light of the moon.

 

·        Drop your awareness from your head into your heart  

·        Take several deep breaths into the heart

·        Release any unwanted energy with the outbreath

·        Pay attention to areas where you may be feeling any tension or discomfort and direct your breath into those areas, release deeply with the out breath

·        Allow your mind to become still, silent the incessant chatter that always seems to go on in the background

·        Remain in this heart-centred space for several minutes

·        Imagine a violet flame before you this may be as a candle with a violet flame or simply a violet flame

·        Holding a crystal, pass it in your mind’s eye through the flame, you can hold it there for a moment or two or longer if needed as the flame is completely safe to the touch

·        When you sense that the crystal is cleansed and charged, repeat with another stone

 

Similarly if you feel that you need energy cleansing, you can visualise yourself standing within the violet fire inviting the flames to blaze through you, straightening  all the crooked  places and emerge after a minute or two completely refreshed and recharged.

 

When second hand items come into your possession from books, furniture to clothes they too may be passed through violet fire in a visualisation to cleanse any residual energy.

 

In your home a room may be kept energetically fresh and clean by visualising the entire room in violet fire, this makes the room feel very inviting, and completely clears the air.
