Reasons to train with ACHO, a nationally approved representative body for Crystal Healing
Crystal healing on self and family is fun for everyone, there are an abundance of books on the marketplace and for many people this may be just what they want. For those who wish to learn more professional training courses are available.
In 1988 an association was formed by a group of crystal healing organisations to promote training and competence in crystal healing therapy. Our association is called the Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations (ACHO). The Crystal Therapy Council (CTC) is made up of two groups of schools, ACHO & ACPH. The Crystal Therapy Council is the lead body for Crystal Healing within the General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies (GRCCT).
Choosing to train with an ACHO member school or college ensures you will receive the highest standards of teaching and professionalism. ACHO schools offer the leading teachers and tutors in the field so that students are presented with a wealth of knowledge around crystals, their origins and their applications. The course content is both practical and theoretical.
A Certificate may be awarded following the successful completion of Year 1 and a Diploma after Year 2. Students with their Year 1 Certificate in Crystal Healing Therapy can obtain insurance and practice as a therapist whilst they continue their training in Year 2.
People are often amazed to discover how much there is to learn about the safe use and handling of crystals and the plethora of techniques that are available, but in addition to that ACHO courses incorporate teaching about the art of healing in a comprehensive way. This accommodates everyone, those with some previous experience and those with none.
Three of the ACHO schools are also members of the Open College Network and this enables students to have their course work accredited and validated through a national educational body (NOCN). Some ACHO schools offer additional post-graduate training.
Crystal Healing Therapy is fun, grounding and offers something special for everyone.
